Further to our recent collaboration announcement with pNetwork, ChainGuardians are proud to introduce the world’s first NFT Portal to our community, enabling our users to move their NFTs from Ethereum Mainnet to Binance Smart Chain. Moreover, users can also move them back to Ethereum Mainnet. You can watch our support video here to get started.

This unveiling marks a world’s first occasion which enables users to move their NFTs cross-chain from ETH to BSC and is further to our release of the ETH<>Matic (now Polygon) NFT bridge in 2019.

ChainGuardians and pNetwork Collaboration

This continued collaborative effort with pNetwork, comes further to our unveiling our recent announcement for the ETH<>BSC bridge for the $CGG token. What’s more, we also recently revealed we would be running a pNetwork node to offset some of the users’ fees when using this NFT Portal. All fees earnt through the ChainGuardians pNetwork node will go directly into the ChainGuardians ecosystem with a proportion redistributed through the NFT Mining Platform.

We believe the benefits of this collaboration for the blockchain gaming and NFT space as a whole is staggering; as it opens the door for a massive disruption for how NFTs are valued and interacted with.

The First NFT Portal Opens

Portals are a revolutionary way of being able to transfer NFTs from one chain to another. Essentially, the NFTs are wrapped on a token called pCGT to enable these to be transferred. One this wrapping and minting process is ready, it begins the transfer using the pNetwork from one chain to another; in this particular case it is from Ethereum Mainnet to Binance Smart Chain.

ChainGuardians encouraged the legendary Guardian himself, Binancio, to be the first hero to travel through the NFT Portal. The portal for ChainGuardians NFTs is called pCGT. This Legendary Guardian of Binance is brave, heroic and prepared to jump into the ether. As a result, he will also return to his native homeland of the World of Binance (Binance Smart Chain), one that he has longed to return to.

As NFT Portals become more stable, the amount of Portals available for cross-chain compatibility will grow. We are looking to rapidly expand NFT Portals to work with Polygon, Elrond and other EVMs in the near future. Developing this world class interface also enables the opportunity to provide portals-as-a-service to our ecosystem partners and beyond.
